Do the schools consider only merit points while offering admission or do they also consider the preference selected by the student for the school?
Suppose, I chose School A as my first preference and my merit points are less than another student who opted for school A as her second preference. In this case, will I be admitted to School A because I gave it as my first preference although I have lower merit points or will the school offer admission to the available applicants solely on the basis of merit points?

Hi,
When you apply to a gymnasium you will be accepted based on your grades only, not your preference.
